Interested in becoming a Bowen Therapist?
Bowen therapy is a great way to start your career in the health and well-being industry and it’s a popular way for existing practitioners including healthcare professionals to upgrade their skills. Studying Bowenwork and training to become a practitioner allows you to work holistically with clients or patients. Most students find it easy to learn and are able to start using it straight after the first lesson.
If you’re serious about becoming a Bowen therapist and starting your training let’s talk.
I’ll be happy to answer all your questions, tell you a bit more about the course and tell you anything you’d like to know about what life as a Bowen therapist is like.
Bowen Courses with Kristin North
I run a busy Bowen therapy practice on the Sunshine Coast and I’m a trainer and assessor with Bowen Training Australia RTO#41134.
I am continually updating my skills to give my students the best training possible and am fully qualified in Training and Assessment. It is a real honour to work with my students helping them learn about Bowen. I get to see the change it makes in their lives and hear how it has impacted their client’s lives too.
To be kept up to date with coming events please Like Northstar Healing Therapies on Facebook.
As a professional Bowen practitioner, I’m dedicated to Bowen therapy and fully committed to supporting you during your training. I work with my students for up to 2 years so we get to know each other very well and have lots of fun during that time. It’s usually the start of a long, rewarding relationship, as once fully-trained, most therapists come back to me for their continuing education* and review days* to keep their skills up to date.
Bowen therapy is my passion so I’m looking forward to getting to know you and sharing that passion with you.
Why study Bowtech Bowen?
Bowtech Bowen is the original Bowen technique and has been the industry standard for Bowen therapy since 1986.
- Study part-time, at your own pace with weekend workshops + distance learning for work/life/study balance
- Pay as you go, with no upfront costs, effectively spreading the total course cost out over 12-18 months
- No prior bodywork experience required
- Nationally recognised qualification
- Small classes for individual attention
- Benefits of Bowen therapy / easier on practitioner’s bodies compared to other more strenuous forms of bodywork / ability to work on multiple clients at once.
I teach in the nationally recognised courses with Bowen Training Australia RTO#41134
*Note that Continuing Education workshops and Review Days are not part of the nationally recognised training, however they are Bowtech-accredited and eligible for CEU points with Bowen Association Australia.
How are the training courses run?
Courses are available on the Sunshine Coast and in Adelaide.
Most courses take place over a long weekend from Friday to Monday inclusive and are held in Maroochydore or Noosa on the Sunshine Coast and in Adelaide in South Australia.
Detailed training manuals and hands-on training are included so that even students with no prior bodywork experience can easily understand. Because the Bowen component of the course is hands-on, class numbers are strictly limited so that everyone can enjoy personalised tuition.
